Iran steals American Military Hardware from Afghanistan

Tanks and military vehicles left by American and which said to be belonged to the Afghan army were seen in Tehran and other parts of Iran. Why does Taliban handing over these American Military Hardware to Iran? It just doesn’t make sense. The Taliban needs that equipment why will they send it away, is Iran stealing them and taking advantage of that chaos that is currently happening in Afghanistan?
