Storms throughout Israel cause flooding, several injuries

With rainfall throughout the country Friday and into Saturday, flooding was seen in various locations, closing a number of roads and causing injuries.

Authorities warned people to stay away from riverbeds so long as the water flow remains unstable, due to the dangerous conditions caused by the rains. Tel Aviv beaches were closed off due to concerns of water pollution.

The warm temperatures over the past month have been a far cry from last year, when Israel experienced the wettest November since 1994, causing extensive flooding and damage in several coastal cities.
